We saw a lot of tragic limousine accidents in the DFW area!! It will break our hearts and we feel sorrow for the victims, their families, and also for the community. As a long-time professional airport limo service in the DFW area, we wanted to address the limousine service safety protocols we follow at DFW AirporTaxi & we’ll take the better initiative to keep our clients safe and feel comfortable.
DFW AirporTaxi, as a long-time professional limousine service DFW, has had no material violations on record for the last two decades. All our vehicles are in tip-top condition and most of them are late-model vehicles. The manufacturer-approved modifications vehicles are good to handle the commercial purposes we serve.
We do the regular maintenance of our vehicles and keep them in immaculate position before every service. To safeguard the safety of our drivers and customers, we hire a full-time licensed mechanic who performs a complete inspection on each vehicle once a week. These inspections include every aspect of the vehicle, from the brakes to the quality of the windscreen wipers to the depth of the tire tread. Our stretch limousine is one of a fleet of cars that are meticulously maintained to meet manufacturer mechanical and safety standards.
We did not bring any vehicle on the road if we failed to do an inspection. Apart from that, we conduct all the inspections, & modifications according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. So all our vehicles are not vulnerable to anything that creates annoying situations for clients. Our vehicles are all insured for more than the minimum DOT-mandated amounts for the safety of not only our clients but our drivers as well.
In addition, we keep vetted drivers to lead our client’s journeys. All our drivers are duly licensed to operate the vehicle. According to federal regulations, any driver of more than 15 passengers must have a CDL license (Commercial Driver’s License) with passenger endorsement. By contrast, all our drivers are professionally trained and carry proper licensing for the safety of all.
We are only authorized to carry more passengers. All our chauffeurs carry the correct endorsements on their licenses to legally drive in livery service. To obtain these endorsements, all applicants must have a current medical certification card issued from CT DOT, must be fingerprinted, and subsequently have their background checked by both the FBI and the local authorities. We also do our background checks during the hiring process, and then all chauffeurs are thoroughly trained before ever driving a client.
Limousine service safety is paramount to our core business. As always, we appreciate your trust in our service, and we look forward to providing you, our clients, with safe, consistent, high-quality service for years to come.
